Scene 1 – The Speech
A government official stands at the podium, delivering a speech.
Fat Disciple (into mic, proudly):
“Today, the people’s devotion to their leaders is stronger than ever! Personally, I haven’t paid for transportation in ages — thanks to their love and kindness, my rides are free!”
CUT TO:
The same Fat Disciple sprawled across the hood of a car, screaming:
“I didn’t say anything bad, just a little reminder! Stop! I wanted to get out at the last street—HEY, I SAID STOP!”
Scene 2 – Back to the Speech
Fat Disciple (smiling):
“My food expenses? Zero. Everywhere I go, the people generously set a grand feast of authentic Persian cuisine before me.”
CUT TO:
The official hides nervously behind bodyguards as a crowd gathers, chanting in unison — men and women’s voices rising:
Crowd (chanting):
“Sabzi Polo with fish — honk, honk, honk!
Baghali Polo with lamb — honk, honk, honk!
Adas Polo with yogurt — honk, honk, honk!”
Scene 3 – Speech Continues
Fat Disciple:
“Young people’s friendship and affection for us can be seen on every street — expressed in their playful gestures, showing the world our unshakable bond.”
CUT TO:
The official sits in his office. His Bearded Disciple shows him videos of turbans being knocked off clerics’ heads on TV.
Bearded Disciple (quietly):
“Haj Agha, for now, maybe it’s safer to stick with shirt and trousers in public.”
Scene 4 – The Future
Fat Disciple (into mic, full of pathos):
“But this love from the people is not just about the past or present! Our great, revolutionary nation has shown it will continue this devotion into the future.”
CUT TO:
The official walks through the streets. On every lamp post he passes, a sign reads:
“This pole is reserved for tomorrow’s freedom.”
Scene 5 – The Finale
Fat Disciple:
“And let me add — we have planted the seeds of this love not only in the hearts of ordinary people, but also among the country’s most beloved artists!”
APPLAUSE erupts.
CUT TO:
The audience. In the front row sit Mehrān Rajabi, Najmuddin, and Salar (plus other well-known flatterers), clapping with exaggerated enthusiasm.
CAMERA ZOOMS in on Salar as the patriotic song “Vatanam” swells, closing the scene.
FADE OUT.
